We also love Make Your Own Cards because you can continually change what is on them. You can upload any audio you own from a cd or mp3 into the Yoto app to create your own card (see this tutorial). We like to decorate ours with stickers and labels from our label maker. Here are our favorite places to find free audio online: 

Adventures in Odyssey: I would recommend Odyssey for ages 5+. It is one of our families favorite audio programs! 

Moody Audio: Our favorites are Sugar Creek Gang stories and Nature Corner.

Story Nory: This is a great resource for fairy tales, myths and poems.

Audio Books World: We've found a lot of great classic books here!

Librivox: We've enjoyed many of the Thornton Burgess books, The Wizard of Oz and Aesops Fables. 

Other Resources

If you're nervous about any of the Yoto cards or what kind of content might be included, this facebook group is a great group to join. A quick search of the cards title will show lots of opinions about any content that your child may not be ready for (violence, language, etc).

The best place to buy and sell Yoto cards right now is also on facebook in this group.
